'For Bouzarktoune' Documentation
In summer of 2015 on a trip to the west cost of Morocco I stayed in a small windy fishing village with no mains power. However at the edge of the village there was a school, where people often stood about on there phones. The school had generator inside that when switched on, allowed people to charge there phones while also powering a WIFI hotspot.
For Bouzarktoune was a temporary sculpture installed on beach of my home town. On a windy day the turbine span, generating enough power to charge 2 phones and a WiFi router. The sculpture was made out of found materials on the beach.
I hope one day to revisit the town and install the sculpture back in Morocco.
